ADVERTISING REPRESENTATIVE Live and work by the beach! Community newspaper company seeks account executive to sell and service display advertising accounts in Santa Cruz County. Duties include servicing existing accounts, developing new accounts, consulting on ad copy and other duties as assigned. Strong communication and organizational skills required. Person must have a professional appearance. Competitive salary, commissions, auto allowance, benefits plus assume existing customer account base. The successful applicant will be self-motivated, energetic, have experience in marketing and inside or outside sales, like working with/for community-based business(es), be team oriented, have some experience/capability for basic computer programs like Microsoft Word, ACT, Microsoft Excel and want to help small/medium merchants improve their success with advertising programs. We are a group of four publications, two of which are direct mailed to homes and by far the largest of their kind in the county. We have been locally owned and operated since 1978, with strong readership and one of the areaÕs largest print circulations.
