ITEM / DOLLAR LIMITS: Free ads may not contain more than three (3) items. The price of each item in dollars must be indicated. The combined price of ALL items in a free ad may not exceed $50.

RESIDENCE: Free ads are available only to residents of Santa Cruz County. Only Santa Cruz County phone numbers are allowed to run in free ads.

NUMBER OF WORDS: One ad up to 15 words per phone number or household per month. No more than four free ads may run within 12 consecutive months per household.

FORBIDDEN ITEMS: Free ads may not include any of the following types of items: Automotive Services, Auto Parts, Autos, Business Opportunities, Wanted, Firewood, Help Wanted Instruction, Housing for Rent, Space for Rent, Space Wanted, Housing for Sale, Real Estate, Mobile Homes, Office Equipment, Animals & Personals.

RESTRICTIONS: Free ads may not include: out-of-county address, business name, business address, business phone, business or professional equipment, indefinite number of items, continuing sale, percentage discounts, gold or silver (buy or sell), information offered, complaints, insults, raps, services wanted or services offered, or livestock for sale. No ad which is deemed to represent potential economic action will be accepted as a free ad.

REFUNDS and DEADLINES: The deadline to cancel, place or revise any ad is firmly at 6 pm on Friday for the next Tuesday's publication. The Great Exchange reserves the right to revise, reclassify or reject any advertisement without notice. The Great Exchange does not provide cash or credit card refunds. The Great Exchange can apply a credit toward future ads. The Great Exchange reserves the right to require payment in full before any ad is run.

CORRECTIONS: Advertisements should be checked weekly for accuracy by the advertiser. The Great Exchange will be responsible for ONLY the first incorrect insertion and only to the extent of the space that the error occupies. The Great Exchange assumes no financial responsibility for typographical errors, omission of copy or misrepresentation in copy. Any liability for errors will be compensated by credit for future advertising only.

You may advertise a running, registered motorized vehicle under a special offer: The Great Exchange will publish your ad for up to (12 weeks) OR UNTIL YOU SELL YOUR VEHICLE, for a one-time charge of $23.00. Included in the one-time charge, your classified ad will also be posted on TGE Online on the world wide web. Not all vehicles will qualify, so call for details. These ads automatically expire if not renewed before deadline every two weeks. Ads purchased under these terms are limited to 20 words and may contain only one vehicle.

To renew, Tues-Thurs, 8-6. Ads that have been billed by mail must be paid by renewal time, or they will not be renewed. Ads purchased under these terms must include the year, model, and price of the vehicle. Ads containing 1 or more parts or components of a vehicle do not qualify for this special offer.
